Birth is transformative — together, we embrace the journey.

I became a doula because I was tired of the standard narrative around birth — that it’s either a magical, unmedicated vaginal birth or a traumatic cesarean. Too often, I heard women speak about ‘failing’ at birth or motherhood. I know this journey isn’t easy, but it’s never a pass-or-fail experience. My role is to provide calm support and rich, thorough information so families feel empowered to make the choices that are best for them.

Birth Doula

I provide continuous support, education, and guidance throughout your pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. I do not perform medical procedures — my focus is on emotional, physical, and informational care.

  • Consultation: Meet to connect and discuss your goals.

  • Prenatal Visits: Learn about childbirth, review preferences, and practice comfort techniques.

  • Birth Support: Continuous presence from active labor until your baby arrives.

  • Postpartum: One debrief visit, with optional additional support as needed.

*I am not currently accepting Birth Doula clients but would be happy to refer you to Doulas who are available.

Childbirth Education

I provide private, in-home childbirth education tailored to your unique needs and schedule. My classes are grounded in evidence and enriched by experience, offering practical knowledge and tips to help you feel confident and prepared for your birth. I also provide insights about local hospitals to help you navigate your options with clarity.

Classes are typically four hours, which can be split into two sessions or completed in one comprehensive class. Together, we cover the stages of labor, explore different interventions, and practice comfort measures to prepare you physically and emotionally for the journey ahead.

My Birth Philosophy:

  • Birth matters — every birth is significant.

  • Every birthing person deserves informed, respectful care.

  • The goal isn’t a “perfect” birth; it’s education that empowers you to make confident decisions.

  • Interventions are tools — there’s no “bad” intervention.

  • Unmedicated birth isn’t an award; it’s about autonomy and choice.

My classes are designed to help you feel prepared, supported, and empowered, so you can approach your birth with knowledge, confidence, and calm.

We are so grateful to have had Angela as our doula for the birth of our third child. Angela was confident, caring, and calming. I relied on her to help ease my fears and she was able to keep me grounded. I loved Angela’s prenatal yoga classes, which always left me feeling energized & restored. It was the best decision ever!
