Certain yoga poses are contraindicated for the pregnant persons. Prenatal yoga classes are sequenced with the expecting mom in mind. Prenatal yoga is specialized practice that brings together a community of moms going through the same shared experienced.
I don’t want a natural birth. Will I benefit from prenatal yoga?
YES! Prenatal yoga helps to alleviate pains and discomfort during pregnancy. Yoga is more than just a physical practice and offers a mental/emotional/spiritual component. You will benefit from meditation and mindfulness practices taught during class. Techniques maybe used during pregnancy, childbirth and beyond.
When should I join prenatal yoga?
This is a really personal decision, read more on When to Start Prenatal Yoga. I recommend starting during the second trimester or after 12 weeks. If you feel good, you are welcome to join sooner. Please discuss with your healthcare provider prior to joining.
When and where is Prenatal Yoga?
Currently, Prenatal Yoga classes are held on Mondays at 6:00 p.m., Thursdays at 5:30 p.m. and Saturdays at 10:00 a.m. at Doulas of Las Vegas on 2298 W Horizon Ridge Pkwy, Suite 108.
How do I sign-up?
Classes are held in a six week session format with a week off in-between sessions. Students enrolled in a session may take as many classes as you would like during a session. Each session offers 4 prenatal / postnatal classes per week and monthly meditation.
Why are classes offered as a six week session?
Through a regular practice you are able to receive maximum benefits that yoga offers. This also enables me to give students competitive pricing and provide a personalized experience.

If you miss a day during your session, please send me an email and indicate which class you will be attending as your make-up. Make-ups maybe not be used for future sessions.
